Community Atlas Development - Hillsborough County

The objective of this project is to develop a pilot Community Atlas website which presents quality-assured data and information concerning government services and community conditions in a format that the public can easily access and understand. This pilot is a multi-agency effort that includes Hillsborough County and the Children’s Board of Hillsborough County. As envisioned, the information will be presented by neighborhood along with detailed explanations of what agency provides the data or service, why it is important, and how citizens can contact the agency. Interactive on-line maps will further enhance the utility of the website by allowing citizens to view the location of important government and community services and compare an individual neighborhood with other neighborhoods in the County.
